Yes. The Dia-Band is a universal armband: it holds the pod against the skin without a clip or adhesive, so it fits the Omnipod DASH and the Omnipod 5, which share the same pod, exactly as it fits a glucose sensor. Pick your size from your arm measurement, taken where the band will sit.
The Dia-Band is a pull-on elastic armband: the softest and most discreet option, in more than 80 prints and colours, and the one to pick if you also wear a sensor on the other arm and want the same band for both. The Dia-Style adds a clip shaped for the pod on an adjustable strap, for a firmer, targeted hold, which many people prefer for sport. The Dia-Style Omnipod exists in adult sizes; for a child, take the Dia-Band kids range.
No. Both armbands are fabric and plastic, with no metal over the pod, so the Bluetooth signal passes through as it does through a sleeve. The band does not cover the cannula site either: it presses the pod flat against the skin, it does not press on the pod itself.
Measure the arm where the band will sit, not over the pod. Under 22 cm, take the kids range, sized 17 to 23 cm. From 22 cm, take the adult range. Right between the two, take the adult size: the band stretches down more comfortably than it stretches up.
With the Dia-Band, yes. The fabric dries quickly and keeps the pod against the skin. It does not seal the pod, which the Omnipod does not need: the pod is water resistant on its own. Rinse the band after the pool and let it dry flat. With the Dia-Style, shower and pool are fine too: dry the clip with a towel afterwards and keep it away from heat sources.
Yes, and many people do. The patch goes over the pod for extra adhesion, the sticker decorates the pod itself, and the armband goes over everything. The armband is what stops the pod catching on clothes and door frames; the patch is what keeps it glued on the days you skip the band.
