An Omnipod pod is bigger than a glucose sensor and sits on the belly, the arm, the thigh or the back, where clothes, seat belts and sleep can tug at its adhesive. Our Omnipod adhesive patches frame the pod and extend its hold onto the skin. Omnipod 5 and Omnipod DASH pods have the same shape, so the same patches fit both.
Apply the patch after the pod has been placed and the cannula inserted. Keep the patch clear of the pod's window and press firmly along the edges.
