The Dexcom G6 is one of the larger sensors to wear, and its oval base sits under a raised transmitter that clothing and door frames can catch. Our Dexcom G6 adhesive patch is the largest in the range (8 x 11 cm): its opening frames the transmitter, while the patch holds the whole base flat on the skin. The Dexcom ONE has the same shape, so the same patches fit.
Put the patch on once the transmitter is clipped in, on clean, dry skin around the sensor. Press along the edges for 20 to 30 seconds. On the belly, avoid the waistband line, where friction is strongest.
For knocks and snags, pair your patch with a Dia-Style armband for Dexcom G6 and Dexcom ONE, with a clip shaped for this sensor. Moved to the Dexcom G7? See our Dexcom G7 adhesive patches, or browse all Patch Me Up! adhesive patches.
No. The opening is cut around the transmitter, so it stays visible and you can still see it is properly clipped in.
Yes. The Dexcom ONE sensor has the same shape and size as the Dexcom G6, so the same patches fit both.
