Tips for the Dexcom G7

Apply the patch right after inserting a new sensor, while the skin around it is still clean and dry, then press along the edges for 20 to 30 seconds.

Add an armband for more protection

Yes. The Dexcom ONE+ has the same sensor shape as the Dexcom G7, so every patch in this collection fits it.

Which shape should I choose?

All shapes hold the same way. The drop and hexagon are the most discreet, the butterfly and cookie the most decorative, and the kids' shapes come with a centre piece to decorate the sensor.

Is the centre piece compulsory?

No. It is a separate decorative piece: stick it on the sensor if you like, or leave it off.

Can I reapply a patch that has lifted?

A patch is meant for one sensor wear. If the edges lift, press them back down; if it no longer holds, replace it with a new one.
